The highlight of my day was playing soccer this evening on the astroturf.
1) I am grateful to the doctor and nurse for giving me the inoculations today.
2) I am grateful to my teammates for being such good teammates!
3) I am grateful to Simon for listening to me when I needed to share something.
Neuro-psychology experiments have shown that if people journal highlights from their day every day, then new pathways will be created through the brain. This allows these daily highlights to be automatically generated from then on, resulting in long term benefits such as less symptoms of stress with greater mental health and happiness. After completing various versions of this exercise several times on this blog, I am now taking on a new exercise by answering five simple questions each day.
